"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty."
~George Washington 1st US President Under the Constitution of the United States

Are religious people allowed to join in and discuss beliefs too or what? would be good to get all the different viewpoints together.
Cant we all just get along?

TBH with you i was being serious. i dont see why anyone would have a problem with it. I studied a lot of different beliefs and religions and i find it fascinating, dont mind hearing about the lack of beliefs and reasoning why either. for the record my best friend is an atheist and I care about him as much as any of my other friends. not all of us REDS are close minded. did you just post that to try to start crap or what?

It seems to me the moment that group meets, the become what they have difference with. The free thinking goes out the window when you start to meet.

no truer words have ever been spoken i believe. I just have to ask though, if you all are in agreeance with your beliefs what would this meeting be about? on how/why you dont believe in something or what?
